COVID-19 Update

Due to the continuing lockdown, alongside Government advice that social distancing will need to continue, we unfortunately remain unable to perform to live audiences. Our home city of Birmingham is currently in Tier 4, and the wellbeing and safety of our audiences and colleagues is our top priority.

Keeping connected to our audience, communities and artists is critically important to us. As before, we are using this time to continue to create a variety of new digital work, particularly with freelance artists, and are streaming as many of our events as possible online, whilst operating with a reduced team.

These are incredibly challenging and unprecedented times for all sectors, including arts and heritage. Like many arts organisations, Sampad is a registered charity and has proudly served the public for over 30 years. However, with significantly reduced income and projects, COVID-19 has directly impacted on our ability to work in communities. If you can, please help us to continue our valuable work and make a donation to Sampad, to help us through this difficult time. If you can’t currently make a donation, you can also support us by making sure you sign up for email updates from us (below), so we can get in touch with all the details as soon as they’re available.

We are monitoring this situation daily and will continue to review the situation. Thank you for your patience and for your continued support. As always, we will keep you updated.

In the meantime, please follow us on FacebookTwitterInstagram and YouTube, where we’re providing all kinds of exciting performances and activity.

Please take care and stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our live shows and workshops soon.
