Get ready for Asian Spring On Screen – and your very own Chance To Dance!
We may all be keeping safe by keeping our distance, but for Asian Spring On Screen, our mission is to bring us all back together – digitally. Packed with dazzling talent, music, colour and joy, it features an unmissable line up of artists and performers – including you!
Over the next 12 weeks, we will be sharing a new performance every week on Saturday at 5pm on our Facebook page. Phenomenal dance groups from across the Midlands bring the spirit of Asian Spring to you in your homes – and, for the very first time, groups from Bangladesh and Pakistan will join us.
Kicking off performances on Saturday 23 January, 5pm (BST) is Solihull’s incredible Bollywood Dance Dreams – be sure to tune in on Facebook!
Chance To Dance
As part of Asian Spring On Screen, we’re thrilled to unveil a new online dance performance led by the phenomenal international dancer and choreographer, Leena Patel, giving you your very own Chance To Dance! Join in from the comfort of your own home, perform and record your submission, and be part of Asian Spring On Screen without ever leaving your living room. You don’t have to be a professional dancer to get involved, we want to hear from everyone – no previous experience necessary, all ages and abilities are welcome. Watch the launch video below.
