Sampad and MAC present a family day filled with music, dance, stories, food, craft sessions, and discussion events in association with Purbanat, Gronthee, and Radharaman Society
We welcome people from all walks of life to join us for this community day in celebration of Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage, to mark the 50th anniversary year of its independence.

With various events throughout the day, there really is something for everyone. Highlights include:
Family and Children Show – 13:30-14:30, FREE
Join our artists for a relaxed afternoon of poetry and song, as well as textile arts and crafting.
Chai & Chat & Poetry – 15:00-17:00, FREE
With musical performances and readings from Sampad’s My City My Home writers programme, this engaging session will culminate in a panel discussion, accompanied by samosa and tea.
Variety Showcase – 17:30-19:30, All tickets £6 (+£1 booking fee)
To end the day with a bang, join our artists for a celebration showcase, filled music, song, dance, and theatre. Performed live in MAC’s beautiful outdoor arena, this promises to be an inspiring end to the festivities.
