Passionate about writing?  Looking for the inspiration to get your creative juices flowing?
Thinking about entering your work into sampad's international writing competition?

Come and join us for a fun and relaxed creative writing session designed to get your imagination and ideas jumping.  Exploring the theme of journeys in familiar and unfamiliar territory, we will take you through some creative writing exercises using the landscape in and around Cannon Hill Park as a starting point.  There will be an opportunity to record your writing as part of Amplifying the Map, an audio project to mark the reopening of mac.

Please bring writing materials with you and we may spend some time in the park so wear appropriate clothing.

The workshop will be led by writers Kate Chapman, Charlotte Goodwin and Rochi Rampal. It is a free workshop but places are limited so please book online at www.macartists.co.uk or leave a message for Kate Chapman on 07812 853889.  NB: The website will open for bookings on 22 April 2009.

Part of the Site and Sounds programme of summer events in and around Cannon Hill Park.
