Watch the sampad dancedub film

On 27 March, over 70 dancers of all ages, styles and levels of experience descended on The New Art Gallery Walsall for sampad dancedub, a new digital dance project, part of the Arts Council’s Arts Nation campaign.

Choreographed by Kali Chandresagaram, the participants filled the gallery and were filmed dancing to a specially recorded track all around the building, creating a mosaic of movement, vibrancy and colours, to produce a four-and-a-half minute film in one take.
