Submissions for Deaffest 2012 are now open!

Deaffest 2012 are calling for submissions for the festival and for Young Deaffest which will take place on Sat 26 May, so whatever your age, download the submission form and start sending your films in! The deadline for all submissions is Mon 19 Mar 2012.

To submit your film to the competition visit http://deaffest.co.uk to download a submission form. This is for films to be screened during the festival weekend. Films entered for submission must be returned with this form by Mon 19 Mar 2012. They welcome submission of films made at any time in the past as well as recent productions. However, they are unlikely to show films that have been exhibited previously at Deaffest.

YOUNG DEAF FILMMAKERS! SUBMIT YOUR FILM TO YOUNG DEAFFEST 2012
Applicants should be age 21 or under. There should be a significant young Deaf involvement in the production. You will be asked to describe this in your submission form.

Please note for all submissions:

• They are unlikely to show films that have been exhibited previously at Deaffest.
• There should be a significant Deaf involvement in the production. You will be asked to describe this in your submission form.
• All submitted films must include captions/subtitles in English.
• Deaffest regrets that films cannot be returned.
• Films which arrive without an appropriate form will NOT be accepted.
