Inspired By Tagore

2011 was the 150th anniversary of the birth of Rabrindranath Tagore, the 20th century poet from Kolkata. He was the first non-European to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, and he left a deep impression on South Asian arts during the last century.

To celebrate, sampad in partnership with The British Council India ran an international writing competition and received over 1500 entries from all over the World. The selected winning entries are here in this 390 page book.
