<p>One of the world’s great film composers, and affectionately known in India as Pancham Da, R D Burman was among the biggest names in Bollywood music, writing music for hundreds of films spanning five decades. Nearly 20 years after his death, his music still finds its way into soundtracks from Monsoon Wedding to West is West and has been remixed and reworked by musicans from all backgrounds. <p>Following its success in the very first <span class="caps">IDFB</span> back in 2008, this year we welcome the return of youth dance extravaganza <strong>International Raw Energy</strong>.</p> <p><span class="caps">IDFB</span> 2012 in partnership with sampad South Asian arts has created two new youth companies made up of young dancers from across the West Midlands.
