In this month’s Midday Mantra,Yorkshire-based musician Tom Pope adds a little Hindustani twist to the Italian mandolin as he weaves together the sounds of Europe and India.

Tom presents an afternoon of rãgas that he has re-shaped through the intricate use of notes; skilfully manipulated and framed with rhythmic patterns of the Tabla.
