Escape the hurly-burly, as once a month sampad and Town Hall, Symphony Hall present outstanding Asian artists from the UK and the Indian subcontinent in relaxed, informal sessions. Chill out, take your shoes off, close your eyes and experience the richness and variety of India’s musical heritage.

In this special event for Artsfest, be transported by Faheem Mazhar, acclaimed master of the ancient Indian vocal tradition and student of some of the greatest classical gurus.

Over a 25 year career, Faheem has won acclaim for his amalgamation of Indian musical traditions with Western styles, and his unique sound featured in the hand-over ceremony in Beijing for the London 2012 Olympics.

Please note, this Mid-day Mantra is at the later time of 2.30pm and will take place in the Main Hall

In association with Town Hall Symphony Hall. Supported by Arts Council England and Coutts Charitable Trust.
