An uplifting afternoon of South Asian music, showcasing the Midlands’ best home-grown talent.
Asian Autumn brings together music groups of all ages and styles from across the region in an eclectic celebration of South Asian sounds.
Featuring:
- Sanchita Pal’s classical vocal students
- Harjinder Matharu’s Highfield percussion group – Tabla and Dhol
- Shobhana Patel (vocal), Gurprit Matharu (tabla) and Tofail Ahmed (harmonium), North Indian classical musicians from Leicester
- Sanyogita Kumari’s students singing classical raag
- Rohit Ballal (sitar) and Manveer Singh (tabla)
